Vendor Onboarding Policy / Vendor Agreement – NariHaat

This Vendor Agreement (“Agreement”) sets forth the terms under which vendors (“Seller”, “Service Provider”) may register and sell products or services on NariHaat.com, operated by NariHaat Retails Private Limited, Rohtak, Haryana, India.
By registering as a vendor, you agree to comply with this Agreement, NariHaat’s Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws.

1. Eligibility Criteria

To become a vendor on NariHaat, you must:

  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Provide valid business/personal identification documents (GSTIN, PAN, Aadhaar, etc.).
  • Have the legal right to sell products/services listed.
  • Maintain accurate and updated vendor profile information.

2. Vendor Responsibilities

  • Vendors must ensure all product/service listings are accurate, legal, and not misleading.

Vendors are responsible for:

  • Product quality and authenticity.
  • Timely shipping, packaging, and delivery.
  • Service fulfillment (for bookings like parlours, hotels, doctors, etc.).
  • Customer support and grievance handling.

Vendors must not list prohibited or restricted products/services (counterfeit, illegal, unsafe items, or banned services).

  • Vendors must upload clear images, correct descriptions, and transparent pricing.
  • False claims, copyright violations, or misleading ads will lead to suspension or removal.
  • NariHaat reserves the right to review, reject, or remove listings at its discretion.

4. Pricing & Payments

  • Vendors have full control over pricing but must include applicable taxes.
  • NariHaat will collect payments from buyers on behalf of vendors.
  • After deducting commissions, transaction fees, and applicable charges, payouts will be transferred to the vendor’s registered bank account.
  • Payment cycles will be as per platform policy (e.g., weekly/bi-weekly/monthly).

5. Commissions & Fees

  • NariHaat charges vendors a commission per successful transaction.
  • Additional fees may apply for advertisements, promotional boosts, or premium vendor plans.
  • Commission structure will be transparent and communicated during onboarding.

6. Order Fulfillment & Shipping

  • Vendors must process and ship orders within the committed timelines.
  • Vendors must use trusted courier/logistics partners (either self-arranged or via NariHaat’s partners).
  • Delays or repeated cancellations may result in penalties or suspension.

7. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

  • Vendors must comply with NariHaat’s Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • Refunds will be processed only after the product/service issue is verified.
  • Disputes will first be addressed by the vendor; if unresolved, NariHaat will mediate.

8. Vendor Conduct

  • Vendors must maintain professional and ethical conduct with customers.
  • Vendors must not:
    • Post fake reviews or ratings.
    • Engage in fraudulent activities.
    • Attempt to redirect NariHaat customers outside the platform.

9. Intellectual Property

  • Vendors retain ownership of their product/service content.
  • Vendors grant NariHaat a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use their listings, logos, and images for marketing and promotional purposes.

10. Account Suspension & Termination

NariHaat may suspend or terminate vendor accounts if:

  • Terms are violated.
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity is detected.
  • Repeated customer complaints occur.

Vendors with outstanding dues must settle payments before termination.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • NariHaat is not responsible for vendor product defects, damages, or service failures.
  • NariHaat only acts as a facilitator and payment intermediary.

12. Dispute Resolution

  • Vendor-customer disputes must first be resolved directly.
  • If unresolved, NariHaat may step in as mediator.
  • Jurisdiction lies with courts in Rohtak, Haryana, India.

13. Modification of Agreement

NariHaat reserves the right to update this Agreement at any time. Vendors will be notified, and continued use of the platform will constitute acceptance of revised terms.
