This Vendor Commission Policy outlines how commissions, fees, and charges are applied to vendor sales on NariHaat.com. By registering as a vendor, you agree to the following transparent terms.
NariHaat charges a category-based commission per successful transaction. This commission is automatically deducted before vendor payouts.
- In addition to NariHaat’s commission, a standard payment gateway processing fee (usually 2%–3% + GST) applies to all transactions.
- These secure processing charges are deducted automatically from vendor earnings.
Vendors may choose additional paid features to maximize their shop's visibility:
Product Boosting
Boost products for higher visibility in search results and banners. Charged per campaign.
Featured Listings
Pay a fixed fee to feature specific products on the homepage or top category pages.
Social Ad Credits
Purchase credits for social media promotions run through NariHaat’s system.
- NariHaat may offer Free, Basic, Premium, and Enterprise Vendor Plans with varying features.
- Commission rates may be reduced depending on the vendor’s chosen active plan.
- Vendors are free to upgrade or downgrade plans at any time via their dashboard.
- If a customer refund or chargeback is approved under our policies, the commission and gateway charges will be reversed from the vendor’s future payouts.
- Vendors are financially responsible for returns arising from their own product quality or fulfillment errors.
- Vendors can view a detailed, real-time breakdown of commissions, deductions, and net earnings directly in their Vendor Dashboard.
- Monthly statements will be available for download for easy accounting and GST filing.
For absolute clarity, here is how a payout is calculated for an item in the Fashion category (10% commission):
