At NariHaat.com, we are building a safe, respectful, and empowering marketplace for women. To achieve this, all vendors and customers must follow this Code of Conduct while using our platform.
1. General Principles
- • Treat all members of the NariHaat community with respect, dignity, and fairness.
- • Uphold the values of women’s empowerment, honesty, and inclusivity.
- • Use the platform for lawful purposes only.
- • Avoid any behavior that harms, harasses, or exploits others.
2. Vendor Responsibilities
- • Honest Listings: Vendors must provide accurate product/service descriptions, pricing, and availability.
- • Quality Standards: Vendors must ensure products are genuine, safe, and services are professional.
- • Respectful Communication: Vendors should communicate politely with customers, without abusive or discriminatory language.
- • No Exploitation: Vendors must not engage in unfair trade practices, fraud, or manipulation (fake reviews, false discounts, etc.).
- • Timely Fulfillment: Vendors must ship products or deliver services within promised timelines.
3. Customer Responsibilities
- • Respect Vendors: Customers must treat vendors respectfully and avoid abusive language.
- • Honest Reviews: Customers should provide truthful reviews and feedback without malice or manipulation.
- • Fair Usage: Customers must not misuse return/refund policies for personal gain.
- • Lawful Conduct: Customers must not use the platform for scams, spamming, or fraudulent activities.
4. Zero Tolerance Policy
NariHaat has zero tolerance for:
- → Harassment, abuse, or discrimination based on gender, caste, religion, region, or background.
- → Fraudulent or illegal activities by vendors or customers.
- → Offensive, explicit, or harmful content uploaded on the platform.
Violations may result in suspension or permanent termination of accounts.
5. Community Engagement
- • Vendors and customers are encouraged to participate in ground meetings, workshops, and empowerment programs organized by NariHaat.
- • Respectful behavior is expected in both online and offline events linked to NariHaat.
6. Enforcement & Penalties
- • First Violation → Warning Notice
- • Second Violation → Temporary Account Suspension
- • Severe / Repeated Violations → Permanent Account Termination & Legal Action
7. Reporting Misconduct
