This Vendor Commission Policy outlines how commissions, fees, and charges are applied to vendor sales and services on NariHaat.com. By registering as a vendor, you agree to the following terms.
1. Commission Structure
NariHaat charges a category-based commission per successful transaction. The commission is deducted automatically before vendor payouts.

2. Payment Gateway Charges
- • In addition to NariHaat’s commission, a payment gateway processing fee (usually 2%–3% + GST) applies to all transactions.
- • These charges are deducted automatically from vendor earnings.
3. Optional Promotional Fees
Vendors may choose additional paid features for better visibility:
- → Product Boosting (Paid Promotion): Boost products/services for higher visibility in search results and banners. Charges apply per campaign.
- → Featured Listings: Pay a fixed fee to feature products/services on the homepage or category pages.
- → Ad Credits: Purchase ad credits for social media promotions run through NariHaat’s integrated system.
4. Subscription Plans (If Applicable)
- • NariHaat may offer Free, Basic, Premium, and Enterprise Vendor Plans with different features and limits.
- • Commission rates may vary depending on the vendor’s chosen plan.
- • Vendors are free to upgrade/downgrade plans as per their requirements.
5. Refunds & Chargebacks
- • If a customer refund or chargeback is initiated, the commission and gateway charges will be reversed from the vendor’s future payouts.
- • Vendors are responsible for disputes arising from product/service quality issues.
6. Transparency & Reporting
- • Vendors can view a detailed breakdown of commissions, deductions, and net earnings in their vendor dashboard.
- • Monthly statements will be available for download for accounting and GST filing.
7. Changes to Commission Policy
- • NariHaat reserves the right to modify commission rates or fee structures.
- • Any changes will be notified to vendors at least 15 days in advance.
8. Example of Commission Deduction
For clarity (Fashion category, 10% commission):
- • Product Sale Price: ₹1,000
- • NariHaat Commission: 10% (₹100)
- • Payment Gateway Fee: 2% (₹20)
- • Net Earnings to Vendor: ₹880
