At NariHaat.com, we aim to provide a smooth and trustworthy shopping experience. Since we are a multi-vendor marketplace, each vendor manages their own return and refund process, while NariHaat facilitates and monitors fairness.

1. General Guidelines

  • Customers are requested to carefully review product details, vendor policies, and descriptions before purchase.
  • Return, replacement, or cancellation requests must be submitted within the timeline mentioned on the product/service page.
  • Some items or services may be non-returnable or non-refundable (e.g., personalized products, digital downloads, perishable goods, or confirmed service bookings like hotel rooms).

2. Return Policy for Products

Products are eligible for return/replacement if:

  • Damaged, defective, or not as described.
  • Wrong product delivered.
  • Missing parts or accessories.

The product must be returned in its original condition with tags, packaging, and invoice.

Certain categories (cosmetics, innerwear, food, health products, etc.) are non-returnable for hygiene and safety reasons.

3. Cancellation Policy

Order Cancellation by Customer:

  • Orders can be cancelled before they are shipped by the vendor.
  • Once shipped, cancellations are not allowed; customers may request a return instead.

Order Cancellation by Vendor/Platform:

  • A vendor or NariHaat may cancel an order due to stock unavailability, payment issues, or fraudulent activity.
  • In such cases, a full refund will be issued to the customer.

4. Refund Policy

Refund Eligibility: Refunds will be processed only after the returned product is inspected and approved by the vendor.

Refund Timeline:

  • Prepaid Orders: Refunds are usually processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
  • COD Orders: Refunds may be issued via bank transfer, UPI, or wallet within 7–10 business days.

Non-Refundable Cases:

  • Customer provides incorrect details.
  • Product damaged due to misuse, negligence, or unauthorized repair.
  • Items marked “non-returnable” on the product page.

5. Service Bookings (Beauty Parlours, Hotels, Doctors, etc.)

  • Service bookings may have separate cancellation and refund policies defined by the vendor.
  • In case of disputes, NariHaat will mediate between the vendor and customer, but the final responsibility lies with the service provider.

6. Dispute Resolution

  • If a buyer and vendor cannot reach an agreement, NariHaat’s support team may intervene to ensure a fair resolution.
  • Final decisions will be based on evidence (photos, videos, invoices) provided by both parties.
