At NariHaat.com, customer trust is our top priority. This Customer Protection Policy sets out buyer rights, payment protections, and dispute-resolution procedures for purchases made through our platform, consistent with Indian marketplace regulations and Google policies.

100% Secure & Encrypted Payments

All transactions are processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. Your sensitive payment information is bank-level encrypted and never shared with our vendors. NariHaat securely holds funds in escrow until your order is successfully confirmed.

1. Buyer Rights

  • Receive genuine products exactly as described by the seller.
  • Secure, transparent transactions with clear pricing (no hidden taxes or fees).
  • Right to request refunds and replacements under our Return Policy.
  • Right to NariHaat's mediation if a vendor fails to deliver.

2. Fraud & Misrepresentation

If a vendor delivers a fake, defective, counterfeit, or misrepresented item, you are eligible for a full refund after simple verification.

Vendors found guilty of fraud or repeated policy violations face severe penalties, suspension, or permanent delisting from NariHaat.

3. Refund & Return Assurance

Customers may raise return or refund requests within 7 days of delivery. Eligible reasons include damaged items, wrong items, or items missing parts.

Refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days after approval.

4. Delivery Protection

Vendors are strictly responsible for the timely delivery of products. If a delivery is not completed within the promised tracking timeline, customers may cancel the order and request a full refund.

5. Dispute Resolution

If you encounter an issue, vendors are required to respond to support tickets within 48 hours.

If the vendor fails to resolve the issue to your satisfaction, NariHaat will step in to mediate and enforce a fair outcome based on platform rules.

6. Limitations

To keep the platform fair for sellers, this protection policy does not cover:

  • Buyer’s remorse (simply changing your mind after shipping).
  • Products damaged due to customer negligence or misuse.
  • Products that have already been used, worn, or altered.
